Come Alive at the High Desert Museum
Lynx, bobcats, and birds, oh my! There’s so much to explore at the High Desert Museum in Bend Oregon-including live animals. The museum received TripAdvisor’s certificate of excellence for 2013. You will find all kinds of great info on the area’s plants, animals, geography, climate, and history. The museum features many indoor and outdoor exhibits. Get up close and personal with eagles, owls, and other carnivorous birds. High Desert Museum has all sorts of live exhibits, but the most popular may very well be the otter exhibit. Badgers and porcupines are also standing by. High Desert Museum is a hit with all ages. Kids love listening to the stagecoach driver and hearing stories about the American frontier from the museum’s storytellers. Visitors especially love the Western artwork, ranch, and Native American collection.
