Gaelic Storm TourTower Theatre
Nov. 6, 2013
Celtic-rock group Gaelic Storm comes to Bend for one night only this November. Enjoy new songs from their latest album, released on their own label, Chicken Boxer. The album has been a runaway hit and #1 on Billboards World Music chart. It dazzles listeners with a heady concoction that combines ballads, anthems, and more. Taking inspiration from traditional Celtic music, Gaelic Storm’s songwriting buzzes with fiery, fist-pumping energy.
Chicken Boxer is the ninth studio album from the band, and the fifth under their own Lost Again Records label. Frontman Patrick Murphy hales from Ireland, and vocalist-guitarist Steve Twigger is from England. Though they’ve lived in the United States for a while, they returned to their roots with a journey over the pond to get inspiration for this album—and it really shows. Be a part of it—go to their one-night appearance at Bend’s Tower Theatre.
