Bend Music - The Central Oregon Symphony
Treat yourself to a night of lively classical music with the Central Oregon Symphony, a volunteer orchestra that provides the Bend community with free performances throughout the year. For the 2014 winter season, the symphony will be playing an engaging selection of rousing works designed to warm the spirit with fast tempos and dramatic sounds. Music from the upcoming program includes the William Tell Overture by Giachino Rossini, Night on Bald Mountain by Petrovich Mussorgsky, In the Steppes of Central Asia by Alexander Borodin and March Slave by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In addition, guest violinist Lindsay Deutsch will be performing Concerto for Violin by Max Bruch. These free performances take place in mid-February, and are an excellent way for anyone to dip their toes into the classical music experience.
