Explore the art of quilting at the annual Sisters Quilt Show in beautiful Sisters, Oregon. In its 39th year, this inspiring event features nearly 1,400 quilts from all over the world, along with a host of family-fun activities centered on creativity.
Just outside of Bend, Sisters, Oregon attracts countless visitors every year. On the second Saturday of each July, however, the city transforms into the quilting capital of the world. Scheduled for Saturday, July 12, this year's free event will introduce guests to a wide array of vibrant, decorative quilts, handcrafted by local residents and visitors alike. It will also feature a quilt and bike raffle, with a one-of-a-kind, classic cruiser bike as first prize. In addition to various exhibits and activities, guests will enjoy access to the quilting activity area, where kids will have a chance to create small take-home projects.
Running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is just one of the many reasons to visit the awe-inspiring Sisters area, where you'll find lakes, rivers, wilderness, hiking trails, vistas, scenic drives and plenty of fresh, clean air.
Parking will be available at no cost on all city streets in residential areas and the business district. The event will also feature shuttle service and tour buses that give an up-close perspective of this engaging 1880's-style town.
