Want to experience the High Desert Museum, after hours? Bring the whole family along for a little rendezvous with some of your favorite desert crawlers in an evening of revelry this May. This all access event, happening exclusively on May 29, will showcase the new High Desert Museum's latest special exhibition, Brewing Culture: The Craft of Beer. As any Oregonian will tell you, this state is famed for its locally crafted brews - Bend, Oregon is home to one of the state's most famous and oldest in Deschutes Brewery, after all. So what better way to celebrate the history of Oregon will a little interactive museum experience during the High Desert Museum's Open 'Til Dark at the Brewing Culture Exhibit. The special exhibit, on display through Memorial Day weekend, is hosting a series of special events and programs during his run and was entirely conceived by the High Desert Museum. Delivering the history of brewing, the infamous craft brew ingredients, the hoppy process of fermentation and beyond, and the culture of craft brewing - it's all there for your liking during the special after hours event. Chat with likeminded beer enthusiasts, enjoy tunes from local band Truck Stop Gravy and try an assortment of various local brews. Adult tickets are just $8, children are $5 and a beer tasting package, which includes a souvenir glass and five tasting tickets, is just $10. From 5-9pm, party with the entire family on Friday May 29 at the Open 'Til Dark at the Brewing Culture Exhibit in the High Desert Museum.
